As we navigate an era filled with a new level of collective anger, we are left with the question–how do we release some of these big feelings from our bodies?
A take on the classic “scream into a pillow,” Placed Anger has our subject screaming into different objects as an act of unburdening herself of rage.
However, she is soon confronted by the fact that it is complicated to be loud and angry–screaming is such an alarming act that we must stifle it to avoid disrupting the peace.
But isn’t our peace as a society already disrupted? Who are we serving by muting our anger? How do we find healthy channels for our collective rage?
Where do we place this anger?
